What the virtual card is
The card is a set of card numbers issued against your RedotPay balance. You load the wallet with crypto, the balance converts as you spend, and merchants see a normal card payment. There is no plastic to wait for, so the card can be used within minutes of creation.
Creating and funding the card
Card creation unlocks only after identity verification passes. Once it is live, top up by sending USDT or another supported asset to your wallet address inside the app, then move the balance onto the card.
- Send on the correct network — a TRC20 transfer to an ERC20 address is lost
- Start with a small test transfer the first time
- Keep a small buffer on the card so currency movement never causes a decline
- Add the card to a phone wallet if you want tap payments in stores
Where it works, and where it does not
The card behaves like any prepaid card on the network, so it works across most subscription services, marketplaces, ad platforms and travel bookings. Some merchants block prepaid ranges outright, and a few require a billing address that matches the card country.
- Works well: streaming, hosting, AI and design tools, ad accounts, flights and hotels
- Often blocked: some banks' own top-ups, gambling, and a handful of regional retailers
- Hotel and car-rental holds temporarily lock more than the final amount
Common declines and quick fixes
Most declines are not a broken card. Check the balance covers the amount plus any conversion, confirm the billing details you typed match the card profile, and retry once rather than five times — repeated attempts can trigger a temporary block.
